Where Is The Mint Mark On A 1776 1976 Silver Dollar? [Solved]
The Eisenhower dollar was minted from 1971 to 1978 and coins struck in 1975 and 1976 have a double date of “1776–1976” on them. The D or S mint mark is located beneath Eisenhower’s bust on the obverse, except for coins from the Philadelphia Mint which don’t have a mint mark. The design of the coin features Dwight D. Eisenhower and was designed by Frank Gasparro.
