Wow! That’s a lot to remember. A cup is basically 16 tablespoons, which is equal to half a pint, a quarter of a quart, and 8 fluid ounces. In the US, it’s usually around 237 mL. But you can also think of it as being roughly 240 or 250 mL - that way it fits nicely with the US pint (500 mL) and pound (500 g).
